January’s Student of the Month

Wednesday 3rd February 2021 by Natasha Searls-Punter Leave a Comment

January is over- phew! And so we have a new student of the month to announce…. @hanlroberts

Hannah purchased our Goldwork Online Class and kit and has been working away on her pear in great detail.

I’m sure you will agree she has made a fantastic job of it and even though she says that the cutwork was tough, we think she should be very pleased with it.

Hannah is quite an accomplished stitcher from her instagram page, you can see she has turned her hand to lots of wonderful stitching kits, all of which could be adverts themselves !

If you would like to be the first #studentofthemonth of 2021, use the hashtag #londonembroideryschool or tag us when sharing your photos from your London Embroidery School class or the things you have gone onto make following one of our class.

In need of some Monogramming Inspiration?

Friday 15th January 2021 by Natasha Searls-Punter Leave a Comment

When you have worked hard on building up you stitching skill, having taken all the monogramming online classes and practised your techniques you will want to put them to good use right?

Let us take you through a little inspiration as you soak up some ideas about where you could apply your monogramming skills on items or gifts for your future projects. It is one thing to learn the skills on fabric, and quite another to be able to transfer them onto usable items such as jackets, accessories and keepsakes.

Once you have picked your item, you then need to decide on what will be written, the arrangement, font style and size. Hopefully taking a look at some of the possibilities might help you to start making the decision for your stitching. Follow the link so see the full video and absorb all those ideas!

Christmas Postage Dates are now past…

Wednesday 16th December 2020 by Natasha Searls-Punter Leave a Comment

As we are expecting some disruption to the postal system this year, our date for Christmas postage for all countries including the UK has now past. However we are still working and will continue to dispatch orders up to the 20th Dec, we just cant say that they should get to you before Christmas. Any orders placed after the 20th Dec will be fulfilled after our Christmas break, and will be due to leave us by the 6th Jan 2021.

We hope that fits in with all your plans 🙂

Christmas UK Postage Deadline Fast Approaches

Friday 11th December 2020 by Natasha Searls-Punter Leave a Comment

All our embroidery online class kits, whether Chrismas gift wrapped or not, come presented beautifully in a recyclable box so that you get a fun unboxing experience when you receive your parcel. In this year when we might not be able to see one another as we usually would, sending someone the gift of a skill or something you have made with your new skills has an enhanced meaning.

As the final postage date before Christmas creeps ever closer (15th Dec for UK) , get your order into us to avoid disappointment as we can’t wait to see what you will go on to stitch.

We will continue to be working and post items out until the 20th Dec, but cant say for sure they will arrived before Christmas. After that all new orders will be despatched by the 6th Jan 2021.

New Goldwork Weekend Class Now Available

Thursday 23rd May 2019 by Natasha Searls-Punter

We may have seemed a little quiet of recent, but it is only because we have been beavering away on this lovely new set of classes to bring you for this summer.

The Goldwork Letters Weekend Classes offer a new outcome to the way you learn goldwork by splitting them into 4 managable bites. At each class you will learn a specific fill and edging technique set so you can dip in and out of the classes with the techniques you like the most. Best of all, you can work on a letter of your choice and will leave well on your way to having your personalised piece which you could make into patch, pin or present in a little hoop.
Fear not, the Goldwork Day Class will still exist if you prefer to learn your techniques at a more intensive pace.
Follow the links for all the details,  we hope to see you and your letters soon!
