After the success of our previous floral themed classes, we are now offering a 3 class course purely dedicated to flower making. Covering everything you need to know from start to finish, to make your own silk flowers.
Our first class will cover our famous Valentino Roses technique, intricate and delicate these roses make a great embellishment for hair bands and shoe clips. Using stitch and gathered tulle to create a stylistic rose shape this particular flower is very rewarding.
The second class will be all about Organdie Roses, very full with an abundance of petals these roses are best as a statement piece for example as a brooch or in a bouquet. You will learn how to manipulate fabric on the bias with this clever curling technique to create a wonderfully organic and romantic shape.
Our final class will teach Structured flowers, where you will have the choice of making either an Orchid or an Iris which could be embroidered or silk painted. Slightly heavier than our more romantic flowers, whilst making these flowers you will learn how to inlay floristry wire to create a fully manipulatable flower, fantastic for millinery. These flowers are more a statement piece and are wonderful on a large scale as they are slightly heavier and more dramatic.
Also available as individual classes in the Classes section.
Please book your course at least 1 week in advance, cancellations need to me make at least 24 hours in advance and courses are not refundable.
