Introduction to Embroidery Online Class Part 1, 2 & 3

New and wannabe embroiderers, this is the series for you. Presenting our Introduction to Embroidery Online Class Series. During this series you will work on the Lily and Pomegranate design practising 8 classic stitches while we introduce you to different types of needles and thread, talk you through setting up your embroidery and creating good stitching practices.
Part 1: We will set you up with your materials and skills to use through the series and beyond. We start by going through the materials, preparing your equipment and materials. Then we start stitching, covering Running Stitch, Back Stitch, Whipping Stitches and Stem Stitch; ready to work on more textural stitches in Part 2Part 2: We move onto more textural, decorative stitches including Chain Stitch and Split Stitch and fill techniques; French Knots and Sequins.Part 3: Saving the most advanced skills for last we will be tackling satin stitch; parallel and turning. Daisy Stitch, Wheel Stitch and finishing off your piece by curling the roots system.Each part is also available as a stand alone product in our Online Classes section.Kits are available to go along with this class, you can select from the Deluxe kit for all the materials and equipment you will need to complete this piece, or the Mini kit which just includes the materials (see kits section to make your selection).
Each class video is approximately an hour long, and you should expect it to take between 5-8 hours to complete the stitches in each part of the series.
When you have made your purchase, the link will be sent to your email and kits through the post. You can use the video as many times as you like, watch, rewatch, rewind and pause us as you please.
