This weeks designer focus is Hannah Mansfield, also known as The Perpetual Maker over on Instagram. Hannah is a freelance fashion embroider from Bristol. After graduating with a degree in textile design, Hannah has gone on to create and explore the world of tambour and goldwork,this exploration also has recently awarded her with 3rd prize in the fashion open category of Hand and Locks 2017 competition.
Hannah is very open about her practice and is keen to share information and progress shots of her beautiful work, mostly on her Instagram, but check out this recent interview as Mansfield chats about inspiration, books, and her work.

A little preview of what’s to come next year, @crumblekat is the first owner of a framed piece of embroidery featuring black and silver goldwork insects and a scrunched sequin leopard spot.
