Kate Jenkins

Thursday 22nd October 2015 by claire

Kate Jenkins opened up her unique fish mongers at the Knitting and Stitching show in Alexandra Palace this October. What made her fish shop so unique was that it was entirely made from knitting and crocheting!

The whole collection took Kate Jenkins a total of 9 months to complete, and at a first glance looks exceptionally realistic. The textile fish counter even made it into the Waitrose Weekend Paper!

As admirers of her work it was natural to purchase one of her artworks, and went for the Ortiz Sardine Tin. The package came with a card signed by Kate Jenkins herself! A nice personal touch and a great piece of artwork for the studio!

Visit her website or instagram for lots more!
